You've noticed that some information here is targeted towards athletic directors and coaches. However, the Facebook page (Arthur Okaw Christian Holiday Classic) is a fantastic place for ALL fans.
 Everyone at your school can be part of the fun, even if they can't travel to Arthur with your team.

AOC Tournament partners with NCSAA (National Christian School Athletic Association)

A new highlight for this year's tournament will be a partnership between the National Christian School Athletic Association and the AOC Holiday Classic. 

The NCSAA is located in Erie, PA and offers many benefits to its member schools. 

The new partnership means that the winner of both the boys’ and girls’ tournaments will receive an automatic berth to their National Tournament on March 3-5, 2011 in Erie, PA.

This year the tournament will feature a girl's and a guy's tournament. Below is a list of participating teams.

The girl's tournament will be set up in two pools of three. Top team from each pool will play for championship, second place team from each pool for third and fourth, third place teams for fifth and sixth (all teams will play three games).

Team Sportsmanship Award

Nearly every team was nominated by our officials this year for the Team Sportsmanship Award. Every game the officials selected the team that they deemed to have the best sportsmanship during that game. There were several games that the officials actually declared a tie and stated that they were impressed with the sportsmanship both teams as well as our tournament field this year.

Team Sportsmanship Award

This year the Team Sportsmanship Award will be determined by the officials of each game. At the end of the tournament, the team receiving the most votes from officials will presented with an award for Team Sportsmanship.

Tuesday's Schedule

While first round games begin at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, please do not plan to arrive before 10 a.m. The facility may be in use by others and locker rooms and courts will be unavailable.

We are excited about the second day of the tournament. There are still many great basketball games to be played. We hope that your team will plan to stick around and join us for the Championship Game at 6 p.m.
